(this looks A LOT like an H swapped accord that I saw on Clist a couple years back for 3k, so maybe they figure they take a loss at this point)

So I just connected my battery and heard a LOUD pop noise.

All my fuses look fine.

What the fuck did I do? I'm scared to try the battery again.

Had a ground hooked up to the power... wooops...

Will sort out more tomorrow.

Lets hope my ECU isn't fried.

Putting the ground on the frame instead of on the power terminal should help to clear things up...

I wanted a motor swap and I'm going to get this shit done. Sorry I don't have the experience that you do.

Someone that came over to my house told me what to hook up to power (yeah, I didn't know the basics) and he was going fast and bundled all the wires together and a little ground slipped in there and I never double checked it.

corrected the ground this morning and electronics are now working. Time to add oil to the motor!

ALWAYS ask questions if you don't understand something Clayton. The reasoning behind it is it's YOUR CAR! When shit breaks after the swap YOU will have to fix it no one else.

This is the time you learn (while installing) NOT when when shit is breaking/going wrong.

Pretty much. I've never had anyone around me that knew what they were doing and I hardly ever asked questions online. I mostly read and I still do it every day.
