I-5 crash near FIFE
Dont know if anyone heard/saw this on the news...pretty sad.
it turned my stomach a bit as i passed it headed southbound as i was on the way to the hospital early this morning.
http://www.komotv.com/news/local/8649936.html
why the hell is there a need to be speeding like that in traffic, if that is indeed what happened. 85-100 mph in FIFE??..everyone knows not to speed through there!
hope it wasnt a result of "street racing". that shit needs to stay on the track........sad.
PS- wtf with cable barriers?? i woulda thought those big ass concrete walls they build woulda held up better.Last edited by SMseagren83; 07-23-2007, 01:48 AM.F22a1-->F22A-->H22A-->auto-2-5spd-->K20 6spd-->F22C 6spd RWD-->4G63 6spd AWD-->K24 6spd????

As for cable barriers - those things are a joke. There have been multiple accidents leading to deaths from cross-overs up in Marysville with these things and they still won't remove them and put up concrete in that section.....last I heard there was a lawsuit from the families who had loved ones killed there. The States answer is always the same....."We will have an investigation on why they failed".....same thing over and over.
The cars either fly under the barriers or over them....that is the problem....they can't handle the speeds for some reason and can't handle SUVs and bigger vehicles.....
Just a reminder that we all aren't invincible like we tend to think at times and shit can happen quick.無限WESTCOAST FUKINWITCHU ACCORD4THGEN 1990 CB7 Coupe無限

I read about this briefly online today at work. Sad indeed.
If I remember correctly, they said that the cable barriers were put there (Marysville) due to not many accidents/accident fatalities in that area compared to other parts of the state.3 CB's gone....
1 WK Overland....
Still miss the CB though......maybe one day.

Sad
Just found out that a person I went to school with died yesterday. He drowned off the coast of longbeach, a rip-tide caught him and pulled him down. His body was found at 5:30am this morning.
Here is a thing about him: http://my.highschooljournalism.org/w...cfm?aid=135323Last edited by 90ACCORDLXGUY; 07-29-2007, 03:02 AM.
