Car is getting a brand new heater control panel/cable/cabin filter AND a new p/s pump, pulley, and alternator tensioner.

Gotcha, that all makes sense. Too bad parts won't be going in but at least everything is getting sorted out.
Hopefully that MAF sensor goes bad soon.
