I need an auto no time to deal with a clutch and 2500 for something with 230k no thanks there are a few >200k cars that I would rather look at first than something with 200k+

Thats cool about the mileage but I wouldn't just keep an eye out for autos. Honestly it really only takes maybe a day to get the hang of driving a 5sp, takes about a week of solidly driving it to be buzzing around like you would be in an auto and as far as hills just 'ebrake-start' it. Ill still do that in Seattle if someones on my ass at a light. I practice driving a stick for for a couple of house 2 or 3 day with a buddy and drove my car home when I bought it. Drove it the next day to school jerking it around and after a week I was fine. I would hate for you to miss out on a car because its a standard. (not that this car was a good deal) Just things to keep in-mind

so for the last few weeks now i have been riding my buddies street bike quite a bit. im trying to get the hang of it and i think im doing ok ive gone about 400 miles now.

and then i dumped it doing about thirty miles an hour and my buddy (yes the owner of the bike i was riding) decided that he wants to stop in a nearby parking lot. he gets into my side of the lane and hits his brakes now he was about four feet in front of me and had no idea i was even there...anyways i hit both brakes apperently hit the front one too hard, the tire locked up and the bike came out from underneath me.

lots of people came to help. an ambulance showed up and said i was fine which is what i was trying to tell them the whole time. and the cops showed up and gave me a neg driving ticket for 550 and told me that they had to and i should fight it...

it was quite the thrill ride and its all experience right.

oh and the bike only has cosmetic damage... some rash on the handlebar and the ferring otherwise its fine too
