My car broke down... After hitchiking/walking/going back to Yakima, we still arrived. It was well worth it.

ok. wellllll...

this morning i went to tony's house at 7am because we needed to swap my geadlights/grille/rims/tires to his car because his headlights are broken, and he had like no tread left on his tires.

anyways, we finally head out around 9:30. about 30-45 mins into the trip we here a loud ass pop from the engine and then the engine just stops working. so we had no choice but to pull over. we pop the hood and I see plug wire #3 out of the head and on the fuel rail! wtf?!! but there was something on the damn end of the wire. HALF OF THE FUCKING SPARK PLUG!!!1 and it was right on the damn PLASTIC fuel rail, so it had melted some of it, but luckily not enough to make some serious damage.

I take it off and we just wait till it cools down. I try and take out the piece of spark plug but its just fucking stuck in there! fucking thing wouldnt budge. so, I pull out my cell and try to make a call.. guess what? NO SERVICE!!!!!!!! we were in the middle of the fucking forest thingy, about 15minutes from goldendale. soo...we do the next best thing. HITCH HIKE! lol, yup, it was about 10 minutes when someone finally stopped and asked what was wrong.

it turned out to be some pretty cool mexican that was on his way to Yakima from Portland. he was gona get his tabs renewed. anyways, we get to yakima, he drops us off at the Licensing place and we start walking to tony's house.

we get to his house, get in his 4 CYLINDER pickup. we head to schucks to get some plugs, we head to my house for some used wires. then, back on the road again. well, we get to the car, we take out all the other plugs and replace them with new ones, except #3. the bottom half of plug #3 didnt want to come out. it took us a while for us to find some way to take it out. so yea, we got it out and replaced it. Tony accidentally took off all the wires before even marking them or trying to memorize which is which. so yea, when i went to put the new/old wires in, i was like pretty much fucking confused as to which wire went where. It was after about 15 minutes of trail and error trying to figure out the firing order when i finally gave up and called juan. so...I called Juan, he tells me the order and bam, ready to start. tony goes to start it and.....NO START!! WTF??!?! we crank it a few times and no fucking start! we were so pissed that we just said fuck it and got in the truck and drove off to Juans house.

well, yea, we got there, talked, went out for a shoot, came back and ate some burgers. we talked to juan about the car, he said that it could be a bad coil since i had found out that there was no fucking spark! there was fuel, just no spark!

anyways, Juan gave us a cap and rotor just in case that could be the problem.

so we headed back to the car. got there, quickly replaced the cap and rotor. tried to start but still no fucking spark! so...good thing we had some towing rope. we tied the car to the car and just fucking left. it was kinda scary since i was the one in the car, which was about 3 feet behind the truck(rope was short). not only could i not see shit, but the fucking battery had somehow died. you guys know how when the car is off the brake pedal is hard to push down, well yea, it was fucking hard to brake and i thought i was gona hit the back of the truck a shit load of times.

but it was fun going up hill at 40mph with that 4 cylinder hauling a nearly 3000lbs car, lol.

ok, the first time when we were on our way to oregon in the cb7, we had passed some hitchhikers and we were laughing at them. well, then I start saying how it would fucking suck if the car all of a sudden stopped and we got stranded. well, about 3 minutes later, BOOM!!

it was still fun tho. I got to ride in Juans car and godamn, that baby can corner like a muthafucka! I have pics, but I dont think ill be uploading them until tomorow because I think i forgot my camera at Tony's.

yea, NOW the battery is dead. it died when we were towing it to Yakima. it was fine when we swapped the cap and rotor.

haha guys i had a pretty bad weekend too, got home, and went "drifting", as we're heading out my cousins 240 just dies! his alternator went out so we busted an all night fixing it, then next thing you know it my other home boys diff went out, we bust that out and fix it too, then guess what my other home boys 240 blew a shock and we had to roll the fender, in the middle of the streets with a rubber mallet, took us all day, i haven't slept, about to go watch the davanci code, but hey my alarms fixed! and i did manage to clay bar and wax my car today with all that spare time, i hope the next oregon CB meet does better, but it was cool

Wish I Made This.

I really wish i got up there to meet up with everyone, GF went to the ER fri morning so i spent my weekend at St. V's, but shes doing better now, so hopefully if no freak events happen i should be at the next.
