    Jeeeezus ppl, the road to Spokane isn't THAT bad, HEHE! You just have to appreciate the diversity in scenery. This meet will be a great opportunity to capture the extremely varied landscapes in our region. I've already started brainstorming some destinations and routes out in "these here parts." If you all come during the summer it will be very beautiful out here, I promise you will not be disappointed -- just make sure you don't forget to bring the camera like I did, HEHE.

    I went to a Subaru mini meet today out at the state line and we did a pretty nice drive out along the lake, etc. We then went through downtown CDA and had lunch at the Pita Pit (bring back drunken Pullman memories, Sean? HEHE). The drive was filled with tons of curves, hills, straightaways, all kinds of road conditions to truly appreciate a car's capabilities. We weren't the only enthusiasts out on that road but very little to NO traffic at all. There was even an old fart taking advantage of the route in his new Porsche 911 Turbo. I don't think we should be taking these roads as aggressively as we did today, but I think it's a good place for us to consider. I'll try and post some pics.

      oh yes! i LUV Pita Pit! best drunk food ever!!!!!! and they were always open at like 3am as friends and i stumbled on greek row and what not! god..i cant wait til the 7th.....

      why cant we take the roads as aggresively??? shooooot! when u say summer time? when exactly...cuz honestly summer starts in May for the eastern kids.....i wouldnt recomment eastern WA during the MIDDLE of summer...cuz its fuckin hot! DRY HOT too! id say lets shoot for like May!!!

        It may be warm (okay, fine, HOT), but it looks great out here around that time. It's completely up to you guys, I was just putting that out there. You can take the roads as aggressively as you want, I guess. It's just pretty hairy in spots. Pretty much everyone in this group is from the area so if anyone got lost in these country roads they'd more than likely find a way home. But, I'd hate to lose anyone in the middle of North Idaho and have them get lost and miss out after driving clear across the state, etc. I know that was one of my worries when I was at the last meet. I sure as hell didn't want to get lost in a place I was completely foreign to. It's also in a pretty dangerous area as far as if you went over the cliffs, etc.

        And, but it seems like the friggen Pita Pit is all over the place these days. They even openned one up just off of our campus (GU), across the street from both Jack & Dan's and The Bulldog. Funny, though, their food doesn't taste as good when you're not drunk as f**k,

          anywho.....we should start throwing official dates out there!! i say May 5th-7th!!! woot!! thats in like 1 month 2 weeks or so! that aint bad....and then later in the summer we can all go south! then we can go north! then we can go......JAPAN!!!! WOOT!! oh wait....we cant drive there! shit! scratch that

            I'm guessing we also need to be mindful of the students amongst us, isn't that around finals for a lot of schools?

              Hmmmmm, I dunno.....I could tutor some hot chics, LOL!! The last time I was over in Pullan it was "Nacho-Man" after the home football game against Oregon. We lost but I still got blitzed and nothing is better than nachos when you are blitzed!!!
