Next Meet Ideas

Eastern WA is pretty cool. It gets a bad rep from people who've not been out this way (or just seen the not-so-good parts), but it grows on ya. Good suggestion, whoever brought it up. So, I'm guessing Sean, Jose, Erik, and Charlie all have seen some pretty good parts out this way? I'm sure all of us combined could come up with some pretty killer spots for vids and photos. I can think of a handful of awesome landscapes out this way for some awesome pics. It's also super nice during the summers like 99% of the time. So, if you guys get started on planning one out this way, keep me posted

lmao! umm ive been to downtown spokane for a few shows/concerts and ive been to the liberty lake area! (ex g/f's pad) ! it actually is pretty nice out that way...better than Pullman! but them wheatfields are alwaysl.......fun to look at....for the first 30 seconds! i think you all should figure out the location first! PS- Erik is was a business trip?? WTF? or a BIZNIZZ trip?

And on a second Coer de Elane is 20 minutes drive awesome lake great scenery, and that whole NEO nazis bs has been over for years it was literally 20 guys that fucked up a the whole nations idea about that state, but seriously Spokane is kick ass I don't care what anyone says, 9 mile falls, riverfront park, that college of which I refuse to say it's name has a great scenery.......

I couldn't agree more. Tons of really cool places with not much traffic to worry about getting lost in.

I love the scenery down towards Pullman, especially up on Steptoe Butte where you can get awesome shots of the rolling hills and wheat fields below. There's some really cool picnic spots and it's free to use the facilities there.

Ohhh shit, get Mike agreeing now... hehe, yes, Coer De Elane is frickin' sweet Perfect scenery, lots of road, parking, ect, also the Palouse is a great area aswell...

I should post pics from past trips to these places, they're really nice. I think it would really capture a side of the Pacific Northwest landscape that most people don't know about or associate with the West Side of the state.

Some ideas for some really cool photo ops:

-Central WA desert (overlooking the Columbia River)
-Various historic fancy-shmansy buildings in the city
-Rolling hills/wheat fields of the Palouse (Steptoe Butte area)
-Lake Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
-Spokane Raceway Park
-Party at my house (LMAO!)

I say we go to downtown spokane and park infront of that glass building thingy at night and get some good pics. I have always wanted to do that, but there too much traffic.

I'd invite you all to Yakima, but theres really not much to do here. A few good parks we can bbq at, but no where to cruise, and plus, Im sure cops would pull us over. I hate cops in Yakima.

LOL... you're talking about River Park Square, the big mall downtown? The one with the huge atrium, like 7+ stories high, that they usually have that giant Christmas tree in, right? That sounds like an interesting thought, but dunno how we'd work around all that one-way traffic. That's a pretty busy street, no matter what time of day.

Glad to hear you're on-board with this one, too. Though, the drive for you would be a pretty long one (it's like six hours from Portland). But you're another hard-core enthusiast so I'm sure you'd still make it, HEHE.

yea, cuz first of all, i dont feel like messing up a new paint job, busting a lip, bending a rim, shit like that. i can understand driving maybe 20 miles, 30 tops but eastern washington is way to far.
