    JDM headlight question....

Yeah so im gonna post here...just cuz i know most of you and well....i dont wanna post elsewhere cuz this is OUR spot anyhow ....

So my question is....does anyone know EXACTLY what kinda paint to use for blacking out the headlights...AND to also paint the highbeam (inner) back reflector yellow as some people are doing! Yes i know Krylon is the brand...but there are a crapload of differnt types...like for plastics...enamel so on and so forth! ANy ideas??? i wanna put these bad boys in ASAP!

Oh and if anyone knows where or who has a set of either OEM or JDM foglights for the 92-93 CB7s.....lemme know and i throw in a couple extra bucks for ya!! i want the entire kit though!! wires and all!! Id order it through work and get them for 195 for the set...but they are on national back order!! yes backorder!! NOT DISCONTINUED!! so who knows how flippin long it would be......

    Oh one more question.....
So i went to A1 japanese engines in Auburn todayt to pick out my H22 w/auto H series tranny and the guy told me 1600 for the JDM spec motor/AUTO tranny/and ECU! i asked about the TCU for the auto tranny and he told me its all controlled in the ECU! is this shit true? NO TCU on the H22 with auto trans?? and is 1600 a good deal?? cut harness, but all sensors are there...compression test and leakdown test tag is on motor...and they are cleaned!

ok wow...so this was a bit much...sorry bout that but i know you all know ur ish! sooo help me out a lil bit..!! haha

more importantly...was what he said about there not being a TCU for the auto tranny true? its all in the "ECU"? thats shits weird!

I think im NOT gonna put it in....i am gonna look for a reliable shop or somone who can do it in a day or on the weekend! i cant have ANY down time! so it would have to be on the weekend! let me know....

hey sean, if you have the garage access, then i would vote to do your self and with help of friends. if not, then yes a reputable shop would be a choice idea. if you choose to go that route. i will throw a couple of places out there. but it will cost an easy "g" if you want it done in that time frame. but if you want, my best friend that went to the meet down in tacoma, the one drivin the acura. well he makes a butt load of cash to work on cars. i would personally refer him to do it. let me know.
