Another update. Went over again today to install the new wires and injector O-rings. I pulled all the injectors and saw this:
After a little cleaning:
Put them back together, no leaks. Then I started the car and went for a drive to Autozone to read and clear the codes. After I cleared them and started the car, they came right back...ffffuuuu So I went back to his mom's place and decided to check out the coil. First I checked cylinder #1, because the CEL was specifically a misfire in cylinder#1. I pull cylinder #1 plug while it's running....no change in idle and no spark. So I move to testing the coil, COMPLETELY out of spec. The car idles like it wants to die, and it's a sluggish turd. So new coil it is.
I plan to go over again tomorrow or Thursday and install the new coil, updates to follow.Last edited by dj_ender; 03-27-2013, 12:09 AM.Originally posted by Mishakol129Do not disrespect my intelligence. I am the smartest person I know : )

A final update for those interested: Last week I went over and installed a new coil and new injector seals, 2 of the codes went away, but the cylinder 1 misfire remained. Upon further inspection I saw that part of the gasket around cylinder 1 was missing.
Today I went over and installed the new gasket, this is what I saw:
After I installed the gasket and fired the car up, the idle was instantly better, but still had a CEL. So I ran the car down to AutoZone and cleared the codes, no codes after that and the car is running fine.Originally posted by Mishakol129Do not disrespect my intelligence.
