As of next week I'm outta here! Moving to the east coast (Philly area) for grad school for a couple of years. Bringing the cb7 with me to keep me company. I'll be back though! So hold the fort down in the mean time.

Thanks everyone! Yeah I am fixing the underhood rust that I have from a battery acid spill. The only other concern is that my undercoating in the rear wheel wells has flaked away. Not an issue here, but there it will be different. I only need to brave 3 winters there anyway, but will get new undercoating applied there. Sad, I have the can here to do it, but no time at all. Gots a zillion things to pack up and then drive the CB7 there
So Eastsiders, what other rust proofing is there to do? So do I need to replenish my anti-rust fluid reservoir? Man I gotta get winter rims and tires too...

a great coat of wax, build up that protection like mad. soak that thing in oil and if you have coilovers, make sure the threads are protected very well.

...good luck in school, i guess the volvo was out of the question. What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!
