doesnt really matter if it is...i think the a4 came out of the newer like sh preludes but besides that its just USDM

actually it does matter if it is OBD2...it would mean more wiring for the distributor and the such.

more wiring = more headaches especially when the swap doesnt start.

so personally, id suggest swapping the head for a OBD1 or h22a1 or h22a

just swap injectors, and distributor and obd 1 ecu and you should be set. how much did it run you?

yeah no need to replace head, actually injectors are just wirring. headaches for sum people, but my dad has his electrical engineering degree so wiring is second nature for me.
