pulled apart the D15 motor for the civic im getting this week and this motor has to be the cleanest 120k motor ive ever seen. there wasnt any staining, all the bearings looked fine, the pistons skirts looked awesome, still see the cross hatch in the cylinder bores. seriously, i could probably put it back together and it'd last another 200k no problem.

i got lucky that this motor was so well maintained which means less work for me. im still going to order new rings for it and measure everything. i can smell the 1500 dollars coming. doing a mini-me swap on it.

i hate law enforment. they wanted to cite my friend who rides a mini bike with a helmet and lights and obeys all traffic stops for 3 fuckign citations.

the only reason he got out of the situation is because he mentioned my boss at my shop and the cop knows my boss. so i asked the cop what h was going to cite him for:

-public endangerment
-riding on the wrong side of the road
-speeding

the mini bike only tops out at 28mph downhill! so how could he be speeding?

i tell you, this is a bunch of fucking bullshit and im going to tell a cop to fuck off someday and land myself in jail. fuck the system.

dany0 called me today and he wanted to ask if i can do some work for brandon's fried or someone's 3rd gen prelude. it needed a headgasket and a transmission but i dont have time so i refused it.

i got third fastest lap time today at a small indoor go kart place here in chico.
