dammit, i jsut picked up an a4 header fo 18 bucks+2 dollar admission+ 4 dollar toll fee+ 40 dollars for a tank fill up at the pick and pull today.

that cat is at least worth 25 bucks in scrap.

danny, when's that h22 gonna get fired up? clean out that interior foo, unless you're gonna strip it. gutted cars ftw.

the plan is to get it runnin by the end of september....

Mt. Diablo is like a drag strip compared to this road i drove this past weekend..



Insane! ... i give it a thrill rating 9 out of 10! Fuqin insane, i'd say the difficulty level is up there as well. I drove that road and made it my bitch, I got LSD squeeling around corners, and my girlfriend yelling at me .. lol cus she was scared and pissed at me for driving so fast.. lol.(that was inbound driving towards ClearLake)

later that night, driving outbound, i got into a little Touge action with a car i couldn't identify. All i know is that it had fog-lights. . i want to say it was a C-class mercedes, but my girlfriend told me it looked like a camry(i'd be pissed if it was,, lol)

anyways, After i got stuck behind a 5thgen, trying to go fast, it finally pulled over and let me pass. I soon left it in the dust, but can still see his High Beams turn on around every corner he took. I was taking it pretty easy when I saw those 4-lights coming at me.

I still took it easy, untill he came up on my ass, so i started to drive mildly aggressive. I kept a steady pace(faster that normal) and outran him in the turns. but after each turn that came into slight straight aways he punched it so he could catch up to me. So i felt like he was trying to be a 'lil hot shot(underminding the cb7).

After a few more turn it looked like he was getting comfortable, because he was sticking to my ass more in the turns. So i said to myself.. lets go.. lol. I took it up a bit, less then how i was driving inbound during the day. It was awesome. I'd pull alittle around the turns, then keep at a good 40mph at the straights so he(or she) could catch up. I did this a few times, untill I saw real slow(15mph) turns coming up (i had my gps on so i saw the round before it came to me, i guess i'm a cheater) These turns were like hairpins! crazy shit. I took these with considerable speed, and punched out as hard as i could. there were probably 2 consecutive 15mph turns then a few zig zags then another 15mph turn. After each turn i'll pull up to about 60mph, then brake back down to about 25mph for the turns. I left a good 5-7 cars space from him to me lol.

When the straightaway came again, i paced at about 40mph, and he caught up with blazing speed.. so this time around i drove consistently and pulled away untill i couldn't even see him anymore.. actually untill i turned left to get on the freeway. As i turned left he kept going straight, but it was too damn dark to see what kind of car it was.. damn him!

fucking insane, it felt like i was on another planet for a week. im still coming back to civilization and reality.

2-3 different costumes a day/night, not a negative comment or negative vibe from anyone you encounter, so many accepting/beautiful/positive people and the artwork people create is just incredible/indescribable.

pictures up soon when i gather them all

its a def. a once in a lifetime experience.

but once you go, you want to go again and again and again.

i cant wait till next year....

hahaha my buddy manuel went once last year and went again last year.. i think he's hooked just like u are now!.. lol

did u drive ur cb7 out there? I hear ur car will get dusty/dirty as fuq out there. My buddy drove his saturn out there, and got a $200 detail done to it after he got back..interior and exterior, the works.. that's cus he left a window cracked and dust(alot of dust) got inside(again)

Im SO glad i didnt take the CB up there. Sunday night we stayed in an RV park on the Grand Sierra Casino, so i parked it in valet for the week, cost me $5. She was safe and just how i left her when i picked it up. I was very happy.

I scoped out 2 CB's while out on the playa(the desert sand), 1 4dr and 1 wagon. i have a pic of the wagon ill post up later. SUPER DUSTED! The dust out there is wild. Monday was completely white out, rest of the week was sunny, windy and hot, Saturday when people started leaving, it made it another white out so we left Saturday before they burned the man. Im glad we left early, we had the full experiece of Burning Man and didnt have to see them actually 'burn the man'.

Next year, im planning to stay till Monday or Tuesday
