mine is just zip tied to my bumper, cant pull me over for that. it was also in the front windshield for the longest time and i never got harassed.

i've been popped twice for no front plate. both times by the same sheriff.
no tickets either time.

the second time i had just swapped in a new cluster and hadnt put the bezel on yet. he thought it might be stolen since there were a bunch of bare harness ends and made me take the key out and restart the car just to make sure.
