    good trade?

i dont tihnk most of you know but i also have a riced out 92 civic coupe. it's lowered, on 18's, altezza rear lights, CF hood, one piece projecters and a front body kit.

i by no means plan on driving it
im rebulding the motor for it but this guy wants to straight trade for a toyota pickup 3.0 v6, 4x4 and it is pretty clean.

the only catch is that it has a blown headgasket and i know that these are notorious for blowing headgaskets.

would this be a good truck to tow the project car with? after im done with the project car and with equipment and trailer it should weight around 3500 lbs.
    I <3 G60.

0.5mm Oversized Stainless valves and bronze guides available. Pm me please.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Itll have a new HG. Should last you awhile before the next one blows.

Shit you could fix it and sell it.

lol, i dont want it to blow when im towing a car. i have to fix it forever and i think they used the MLS style headgasekts instead of the composite material which are crap.

ive heard that people sometimes even went as far as decking the block because it is a cast iron block with aluminum heads so the expansion rates are differrent which cause the headgaskets to shift.

hmmm if u could get it and fix it and sell it like mentioned and then sell your cb, you could get a diesel in good condition like you wanted to. But i don't know if u have anything else to drive if this were the happen.

well i believe the head gasket problem was corrected with newer gaskets. Manufacturer defect.

If you replace it then it's done and will be fine. What year?

And hell yes. Once it's up and running, you wont regret it one bit.

one of my dad's lexus would be a candidate.

it's a 94 pickup and they do resale for quite a bit.

A 94 Toyota 4x4 is worth at least twice as much as a 92 Civic coupe.
Blown HG or not, I'd trade in a heartbeat.

Once you change the HG, you'll have a good running and dependable truck.

How many miles on the truck?

                1999 BMW M3
                2001 Honda CR-V SE RT4WD
                2005 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71
                2015 Suzuki V-Strom 650

i think like 105,000? i know it is low mileage however im not too worried about the mileage on the engine because i can always rebuild it or buy another one. i just need it to be dependable because the tracks that i plan on going to are at least an hour away.

plus, ill probably pull the transmission out and put a heavy duty clutch in it

first thing first.. is get that civic out of our sights! then nab that truck, because if you find a better deal else where, fix and sell the yota, and put money towards what u want.
