Sorry but i'm racist to my other half. Only JDM music for me or pre 00' and oldschool slow jams. Don't get me wrong, I listen to some Bay Music...but i'm not deep into it like you are. Japan is someone getting westernized but I still think Korean artists have a better grasp at replicating the style,theme and beats at the moment. Some popular Korean artists sing/rap Japanese as well and are very popular in Japan right now. Sadly NAS and a respectable few other artists and beatmakers sometimes make guest apperances in Japanese music videos which is pretty cool. Sometimes I play that music in my car and my friends are like the beat is tight but wtf are they saying? I tell them oh don't you recognize the backup singer thats blah blah featuring Jin.

I think you should get in touch more with your kinda musika. I never hear you bump Pinay or how 'bout some Innerlude or One Voice? they are Bay Area artists....not too much hyphy but still Vallejo based.
