I've done nothing to the car but it has begun bogging occasionally at around 2800 RPM's and I get a CEL for O2 sensor if I floor the gas peddle.

For sure gas mileage is amazing I went from 24 mpg with the auto to 30 mpg through the tehatchapie mountains well see how it is from bakersfeild back home on flat land

Not until I am sure that's the problem. Could be the wiring or even the ECU.

It's the o2 sensor. Unplug it & drive around to test it, more likely it won't bog out anymore. I've had the same problem. If it still does, then it's something else.

It hasn't bogged since the last time the CEL came on which was several days or a week ago. I wonder if clear the CEL if it will then bog again.

When my CB first had an o2 sensor code it didn't bog down within a week or so , then the bogging came back.
