I dont know. its the same as your blue one. I set vtec at 5000, and i didnt feel it kicking in until 5700. It sure does pull hard but the thing is i wanna test it out and see if it really does work. guess not.

Thats weird, Im going to leave all the setting to zero and leave the vtec engagement alone, till i get tuned on the dyno. Have you adjusted the A/F ratios? dont quote me on this but i believe you have to dump more fuel if u reduced the engagement point. You should probably get it tuned although a piggyback isn't the best way to tune...

as for checking the fuel pump thats the only way. To check the lines i would jack up the car and have some one turn the ignition to the acc position while ur under the car. Make sure to have the vehicle secured properly. Check for any leaks and the condition of the lines. And since your down there, make sure u don't have an exhaust leak too since that could be a possibility of what you may be smelling.

It started smelling gas when I checked the fuel sending unit. Remove it then put it back , then it started smelling. Not that bad but noticeable when real close to the car.. I guess the lock was not seated properly? Since the lock is a pain to put back. I see no leaks though.

It did but it needed to be pried off. I gave it some sealant to cover it up and still smells.. Less odor this time..

Lol what do you have now? get on toyotanation.com, they sometimes have meet in the bay. Not that much around the valley though.
