WTB: f22 engine for shits & giggles

Hey guys, I got out of the Accord game last year when my CB7 was totaled. I switched over to the other side and now I'm driving a '91 MR2 Turbo.

Anyway, I'm bored and want to build an engine. I'm not planning on building for power, I just want to dick around with it and get it running with some sort of DIY engine management.

So I'm looking for cheap engines. Emphasis is on "cheap" in that sentence

I still have the manifolds, camshaft, vc, ECU, etc from a f22a6 so I guess those could be missing. Heck, if it's cheap enough, I'll take almost anything even if it's a totally different engine.

I don't care about the condition at all, really. If you swapped to a h22 after your f22 shot something out the side of the block, let me know and I'll take it.

I'll come pick it up most places in the Bay Area.

Oh, I've got some stuff I can trade too:

- CB7 coupe rain guards for the windows (teh hawtness)

- the aforementioned manifolds, ecu, etc

- 17" bronze RSL Elite rims wrapped with Kumho Ecstas 711s

jei at blacktrax in milpitas has f22 blocks for 100 bucks complete. the rest of them are ons with spun bearings since i took the last "good" one excpet when i tore it apart the cylinder bore was scored on number one.

damn, 2 months too late. had one in the garage with bent valves that i wouldve just gave to u but i junked it.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm looking at either a F22A or a Toyota 4AGE and planning on eventually swapping it into a shell.

I'd say we could work something out (I still have the A1 out of my prelude, snapped timing belt), but I doubt you want to drive up here to get it, and I don't really want to drive down there.


You could probably get a long block out of a junkyard for $150.
