DIRECTIONS:
Here are the mall's directions...I think mine are faster+easier, personally.
FROM JOISEY:
1. Get to the city and take the Midtown Tunnel over onto the LIE.
2. Take the LIE to exit 22A-E to the Van Wyck Expwy towards JFK.
3. Take the Van Wyck all the way south to Belt Pkwy East.
4. Get off at exit 23- Sunrise Highway or Northern Conduit/225th st.(coming from the west/Van Wyck it will be Sunrise Highway, and coming from the east/Cross Island Pkwy it will be No Conduit/225th St). If you came from the Southern State/ Cross Island Pkwy you will get off at Northern Conduit and make the first U-turn you can to head into Long Island.
You'll be let off on the Southern Conduit which turns into Sunrise Highway. You'll pass a park, a Bank of America, a Citgo, a check cashing place, a KFC, a car wash and a huge movie theater before the mall. Once you get to the mall, I'd recommend continuing straight on Sunrise Highway until the Sleepy's store and making that right, which *should* take you directly into the Sears parking garage.
FROM TEH BX: If I'm not mistaken, the Whitestone Bridge connects to the Cross Island Pkwy.
1. Take that all the way to the end, where the road will fork to the Southern State and the Belt Pkwy.
2. Take the right leg to the Belt Pkwy to exit 23 and follow from step 4 above.
FROM SOUTHERN LI: Depending on what's closer, you can take Sunrise Highway straight over, or take the Southern State.
1. If you take the Southern State Pkwy, take it all the way WEST to the Belt Pkwy/CIP fork. Take the Belt.
2. Follow from step 4. from the BX.
FROM NORTHERN LI: Honestly I don't know much about Northern LI...just get to the Belt or Sunrise highway, and hit up Mapquest...hit me up and I'll post the directions.
FROM QUEENS/BX: Get to the Belt either by taking the Van Wyck or Cross Island Pkwy south and joining at the end, then following step 4 in the BX directions.
Lookin for a bigger turnout...I know a lot of peeps were mad they couldn't come last time; we can all chill and go to the Applebee's downstairs or the Friendly's upstairs when it's over...
