Yea, right past the train underpass. There's always like 22 RX-7s outside. I wonder how much they charge...

I know some of their members. I heard some shady things about that shop. Like then swapping in other engines than what the customer bought. Not to mention, there are quite a few ricers in that group.

So what's a good shop in Queens to get a simple 8# 16G turbo system set up?

Your best chance it to DIY. Most of those guys couldn't phathom a Honda Accord of all things with a Mitsubishi turbo kit. RPM would be your closest chane, however they blow motors sometimes, and look at you like, "Um... it blew, do you want us to swap in a new motor. Ok, that will be $1600."

Shops around here see Honda Accord = teh grocery getter/ showcar. There is one guy I know who has his Accord done by Speedworld. Spends more time fixing it than driving...

The Speedworld in Queens? LOL my friends love that car..."yo yaw you should do your car like that...19s and all that"...

I just wish I could buy someone's map...MRX is da man, but I can't fly him out to tune my shizzle. I might just rock an FMU and call it a day.

AcclipseH23, are you based in NY? Are you Primo status? I've never seen you at a meet...

I never get to go. Most of them are organized like the same week. That doesn't fly at my job. I need to request that day off a couple months in advance if I can't get someone to switch with me. And who wants to work for someone on a Saturday?

Are you at least going to the national meet?

I think the NYC crew should have bi-weekly meets...

T (Tony) in T&R racing is my married into my family. My cousin get alot of work done there and they never fucked his shit up (thats probably cause its family) but i heard some not so good thing about some of their work. I tell you guys one thing dont sleep on those RX7s, i seen what some of them can do at the track.

Not all of them are shady, cause im one of them(indain/west indian) and i know that im not. Dont put done all because of a couple.

Any which ways, i know they dont have a good rep among some. But 1 suggestion is that before you get work done at a shop or use them for any reason, find out their reputation.
