Tri state meet looks like fun, but I'm not driving more than 40 minutes in any direction. When we do this NY meet, we keeping it in queens most likely, some park off Grand central PKWY, make a central location for all of us to get to easily.

you're in luck, coz the Palisades is only about 30-40mins. from queens
for the local meet, i'd go with Cunningham Park. large parking lot, decent picnic area, and i'd rather deal with NYPD than Nassau County officers any day
