its that time of the year again, AFM aka the accord florida meet. it will be on December 4th-5th(sat & sun), with a special event for those who get here friday night.

this year were doing things a little different. cuz this year Im hosting it & were gunna be on the beach. a beach on the island Key Biscayne to exact!

schedule for the event is as follows
Friday...
7pm~towers shops local weekly car show( we will invade like every year)
9pm ride to a hangout spot for food

Saturday...
8am-4pm the big meet at the park
7pm dinner at a location to be determined close to the hotel
Late Saturday night for those of age you can roll with Jarhead to Garden of Eden strip club which is right by the hotel

Sunday...
more info soon enough

there will also be awards giving for the following categories..

4th gen=interior, bay, coupe, sedan, wagon, overall
5th gen=interior, bay, coupe, sedan, wagon, overall
6th gen=coupe, sedan
7th gen=coupe, sedan
8th gen=coupe, sedan
BB chassis=best BB4, best BB6
closest to stock
longest drive
Mystery award #1
Mystery award #2

just a FYI, the awards will only be given to those who have donated. if you dont donate you wont qualify for an award. no exceptions.

also Ive already chosen IMO the best AFM spot so far, its right beside the beach. we'll have a ton of parking. plus the largest gazebo yet. the park also has no speed bumps. so its slammed friendly. it is also dog friendly. the park is called "bill braggs cape FL state park". the park also has the following amenities...

lots of FL wildlife
real lighthouse! (opens @ 10am)
ocean swimming
showers
large playground for the kiddies
pet friendly
historic buildings
hiking trails
fishing piers
canoeing/kayaking
tons of empty clean beach space
bike rentals
mt bike trails
water craft rentals
great photo shoot spots by the ocean & FL trees
over 100 parking spots in our area alone

the parks entrance fee is 8$ for the whole day (sunrise to sunset). & when you guys see how great this park is youll be glad you spent the $8. heres the location of the exact spot...

As usual, Juan and I are down.
The NY crew always shows up.

Meeting up in South Jersey.
Departing at 11:59pm Thursday Dec. 2 2010.
Then rolling down to FL Via 295 and I-95 South.
Also, we know how to avoid tolls. And it doesn't really throw us off track.

The time of arrival is always around 8:30-9pm Friday night.

We usually make reservations for 12/4-12/9.
The reason for that is because we leave around 6:00AM, right after the free continental breakfast.

We touch down New Jersey around 2:00AM Friday Dec. 10

Well you guys spend a week there.

I know Rey, Larry, Mike the NY state crew are only requesting off from Dec 3rd to the 7th.

I might be coming back with them since I get some free time from the week vacation lol.

We can all roll down so that makes it better for picture shots

NYC is reporting for duty on this motherf***ing roll call!!!!!!

I was there last year and I had a freaking blast!!!! Throwing glow sticks under the bridge with the wagon with the system playing that infamous miami sound.

Soooooooooo, I'm in there like a wedgie on a nerd from a bully!!!!

So i guess they are going there for the weekend basically.

We tried that in '08, and let's just say, it didnt turn out too great.

Last year we were more refreshed for the drive up, plus we got to spend time down there.

I'll be leaving with the NY crew also. I'm starting a new job soon and I can't be taking that much time off. Maybe next year.

X's 2 going to bed everynight around 1-2 am or later, then meeting up with everyone again at 9ish the next day for 2 days straight after a 20+ drive will definately catch up to you on the ride up...

Wednesday would be our last night there.
And trust me, it goes by pretty quick!
We don't go to bed till like 1-2AM. lol.
