^ I was worried it would look ricy, but the idea was to make the car look like a factory VTEC model. I think it follows the logic of the US-market Hondas. You've got the sporty Integra with the small rear decal, then the similarly based but more family-oriented Civic with the big ones on the side. Makes enough sense to do with the Prelude and Accord, imo. I've gotten good comments on it while driving around town, even from non-Honda people. I think I'm the only one in town with the setup and they think it's cool that I did the swap and it runs smooth.

My engine wont have stock internals. Stock now, mild later, that's what I meant. If NA, the compression will be bumped. If S/C, I'll probably go down to 10:1. But otherwise the head and block will be plenty built, just not so much that it would make driving on the street unbearable. Obviously my all-motor expectations arent as high as with the charger.

Yeah, Mahle makes the 10:1s I mentioned for boosting, as well as 11.6s if I go all-motor. I am the most horribly indecisive person.

The decals do make the car a bit of a target for theft, if I were still in Cali they would NOT be on, but fortunately Collins is a fairly safe city.

My friend mention PFI moved, you know anything about this turbo90?

I dont want big power, I want big handling. That's what RWD is for, imo (next project will likely be a 450-ish whp 4th-gen Cobra Mustang, despite all the other cars I keep considering). My car's got enough power as it is, but bit more acceleration from low speeds would be nice. 225-250hp doesnt seem like much to ask of a 2.2 with all those European 'hot hatches' pulling just about that much from the factory - not all boosted either.

Thats cool, Thats what I like too. No new news is speed costs and Mustang is maybe the best way to go for a late model for price. Just look at the full package of cost.
These cb7's are a low rent ride, and certanly lacking the performace the upper model offering of many rides out there.
As a reasonably cheep builder there better than most.
I have been working on a CB7 build sence 07 and it's at about 60% or so. It continues and will be finished soon, that means less than two years?
Yes I'm a wild man. It is what it is.
I can buy my dream car for cash right now but I can't afford it.
              Some day soon..........

Yea lets get a date for a GTG

I've just always loved Mustangs, since I was little. I know as performance cars go they're really not that great, but it's a deeper infatuation than facts and figures. They've got a real aura about them, imo. I hate that they have such a following among the more toolish end of the car-guy spectrum, but I'll have to tough it out and stick with the cool import guys, haha! The dream is a late 4th-gen Cobra or an early 5th-gen 'Shelby GT' (not the 500)

What, might I ask, is this dream car of yours?

Muh Spoon header came yesterday, so Thursday I'll be down in Johnstown to check out PFI's new shop and see if they can help me out with a restoration.

Nothing wrong with a Stang if the price is right. Been looking at a early/mid 90s NSX for a few years now. Just had a complete but unfinished Cobra kit offered to me at a attractive price. It's nice but not sure if I want another project.

I hear you there. It would be nice to have something reliable to drive when my Accord's down due to more extensive work and not have to worry about breakdowns and other crap that goes along with modifying. The trouble is, the only cars that I could keep myself from modding are either too boring to drive in the first place, or I have too much respect for them (or they're too rare) to do anything beyond the most basic and temporary of changes - like the NSX.

There are so many projects I'd kill to do, it's sad I wont get to more than a small few in this lifetime.

Audis always kick ass. I'm an especially big fan of the B5 (97-02 I think) S4s. I was out near Denver with a friend a couple years back and a modified one passed in traffic; loved 'em ever since. It sounded insane, and those things look damn mean when done properly. Just one other car I'd love to get my hands on, it's a similar story with the BMW 3-series and a couple 5s, they wouldn't even have to be M-sports to make for fun builds. But those Germans, man, I wouldn't look forward to paying for new parts that's for damn sure.

I've actually been looking into getting a few new cars also... I get bored quickly (as you may be able to tell)

Been wondering about an A4 some, have to be 1.8T. Also been wondering about a few others, like an alltrac celica, 4g63 colt/mirage, another Talon or Eclipse, 2.5 RS sedan, Galant VR4... list goes on and on and on and on and on....

I was looking at pics of my CB the other day. I really miss that damn thing. Been a while lol

I've been doing some rather serious thinking about a couple other projects myself. Aside from the Mustang, mainly taking my time thoroughly building an F22A at home and eventually getting a body to stick it in - either mild all-motor for an EG hatch (I want something tiny and nimble mob around in, maybe a slightly rally-inspired theme) or a serious turbo setup in a fourth-gen Lude (I just think those cars look sexy... do it black on black for a really sinister look). My second consideration is a 95/96 S14 with an LS swap, or maybe a 2JZGTE (easier to get parts than for an RB?). Then a 99 or 06 Impreza with about 300-odd whp sounds extremely tempting, there are enough decent dirt roads around here...

The next project wouldn't start at least until the main parts of the CB are taken care of, but I'm trying to narrow down that list. A 2.5 RS coupe can look evil, go fast, and take a corner all in one fell swoop, while simultaneously getting its ass kicked and keep going though. Still a tough decision.

nah... Many other cars I'd rather have before another CB...

Also just found out my sister is going to Japan in about 6months with her BF on his Marine orders, which means her 01 gsr becomes mine

That'll be the daily, the sedan will be sold, and then I'll FINALLY get to do my H2B K-killer. By that I mean EuroR H22, Bisi/hytech/kidd(most likely)header, Hondata/neptune, B16 trans, 3" exh, around 230-340whp corrected and a 50-shot in a gutted vx/cx/dx eg hatch or DX eg sedan(preferrably the sedan )

                                pretty excited!
