I didn't get as far as actually removing the engine today. Finally went to the junkyard for the bracket I needed to work with the ESP mounts, then finished up disconnecting the F22. I'm hoping my friend makes it over tomorrow morning so we can lift it out before I go to work, we'll see... otherwise no time until at least Sunday.

Documenting the whole process, of course:

No, I'm keeping the auto. I'll make sure to get a car with a manual when I eventually swap to a coupe.

Sorry, I've already got a taker on the entire engine. Mr. 500hp+ here is trying to cheat the system to pass emissions. Tisk, tisk . The dizzy is even new... well, a re-manufactured unit anyway.

Tomorrow: cleaning the engine, engine bay, separating the engine and tranny, and a full power steering system delete. Sometime between now and the coupe I'll get a steering rack from the junkyard and convert its innards to manual to put it in at the same time as the engine.

I was wondering if you were going to post a pic. What frame? I dig the color scheme of gold and money-green

Sorry... 3s? That up a 3-stair? I'm familiar with skateboard lingo from being a life-long fan of the sport despite sucking at it myself (watch Shortys Fulfill the Dream on the PS3 all the time, my brother's got the og VHS somewhere ), but not so much with BMX terms. I know the more popular ones and that's it, haha.
