Na its just a lil more money i gotta spend on a car. I would probably sell the CB once i get an engine for the talon. hopefully within the next month or so i can get her running and running good. paint aint all that bad either, I'll upload some pics here soon.

yeah i'm starting to believe my f22 was getting ready to seize up with how bad it was burning oil. i had to top it off so often i couldnt always keep up with it. its all good though, i'm ordering my h on monday and that thing will be babied... thrashed on daily, i'm sure, but ocd levels of attention will go into maintenance.

What kind of highway gas mileage were you seeing in yours? Im going to Minneapolis in the fall and am dying to drive the cb out there instead of hitching a ride in the parents' Trailblazer and at $5/gal (any guesses on what it'll be by then?) it's looking like $300 round trip at an estimated 30mpg. I got 30 in the city with my F...

ED. - Haha, I came across a forum asking people how they think gas prices will change this year. Apparently no one will be able to get to work or take their kids to school if this keeps up. I havent driven in 8 months now... get a bike you lazy fucks. In the rain and snow I prepared and left early for a 45 minute walk.

On to the bike:

Its not the prettiest, as its ridden a lot on street/park type terrain. Has some dings, scratches/etc, as is to be expected when you actually ride a bike.....

Still has a ton (read: TON) of life left in it, and rides like a new bike, as it regularly sees maintenance and tune-ups.

If youre looking for a bike to get back into the sport, or for a good bike for your kid to get into the sport, this is it. Its basically bulletproof, and has never let me down. Weighs in at around 27lbs.

Selling because I found another complete bike I want to buy, but need $ to purchase.

Anyone know what the F22A's internals are made of? I just took my old brokeded tranny to the recyclers and was given 10 cents a pound; would've been 30c if I had disassembled and cleaned everything, so that's what a friend thought we should do with the engine when we take it out of the car. They probably wouldn't take the iron sleeves... I assume it's the same for the conrods and crank? A few known good/new parts will be kept and probably sold, but the extra cash would be cool.

take the crank down to PFI, they stockpile f22 cranks cause they use them alot in their h23/h22 builds. The blocks sleeves are iron, but most of the time they dont realize this at the scrap yard because the iron lining is rather small and many people look past it. other places are really picky though. Rods are steel as well.

What is the condition of the block?

No idea, probably not very good given how horribly it ran the last couple times it actually started up, and how quickly it burned oil since I've owned it. Maybe it was just the piston rings, I couldn't tell you. I bought a lift today and started draining the fluids and disconnecting things. The engine should be out of the car on Thursday.
