Sheits lookin good EX! Keep it up man, itll be fun when its done.
Im actually lookin into pickin up the killorado frame, or a khe frame from one of my buddies that has a plug at a local shop.... Mine has seen better days, street riding ledges/etc has gouged the sheot out of the downtube and chainstays. Also picked up a set of flow signature wheels for it, along with animal bars and a stolen clutch stem. Shedding pounds on it like crazy! Bout 23lbs total now'92 h22 CBMRT-->http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=158641

damn, i was just going to ask if anyone's shown interest in it, been thinking about my options all day and figured i could ditch my sedan and drive that around while i look into importing a cb coupe. i remember the pics from the old thread, it looked excellent, i thought you sold it for the teg.
ed. - you have an h22 in the eg now right? rebuilt and running smooth? there's a b18 in the pics i'm looking at. post some current interior and exterior shots if you can.
i could have the cash in two weeks if you change your mind, ex, or if someone else doesnt grab it first.Last edited by CyborgGT; 03-28-2011, 03:49 AM.

Sorry fellas, buyer came through yesterday and scooped it up....
And cyborg: youre right, I did sell the white one for the teg. Part of the deal was the h22 hatch I sold yesterday. I got cash + that car as partial trade for the white one in the pics. The h22 powered hatch was NOWHERE near that clean..... If it were, it wouldve been going for WAY more than 1500....'92 h22 CBMRT-->http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=158641

hey, you said it was a steal! no worries, it would have only been a convenience for future plans. still finally driving again next month .
just imagining having a little car like an eg hatch makes me really want one. one of my two student loans is almost payed off, which would make room in my budget for a second car on liability (or more frequent cb mods, haha). i might have to try and find a clean one then. the italian job-style maneuverability is so tempting!Last edited by CyborgGT; 03-28-2011, 10:59 PM.

BUT, you are right. EG hatches, are in a whole 'nother world handling wise. Its like driving a go-kart really..... I miss mine, sometimes.... There IS something about smashing on dudes in a sedan tho.....with groceries and people in the back.'92 h22 CBMRT-->http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=158641

There are two roads that I frequent[ed]. The closest one to town, featured in my sig, has Horsetooth Reservoir on one side of the road and in most spots a view of the city on the other - this is especially nice at night, even though Collins doesn't have quite the skyline Denver does. Lots of perdy lights, the moon reflecting off the water... and therefore spots to make out, anyway . Just follow Harmony Rd (County Rd 38; it's our southernmost exit onto I-25) west and you're there in a few minutes. Turning right or going straight at the first intersection after the switchbacks will both give you the reservoir and the whole thing loops around, taking you through some countryside and some nice sections of road, in about 45 minutes at a decent speed if I remember right.
There's also Poudre Canyon a ways northwest of town, found by following College (287) north/NW and turn left on HWY 14 - there's a gas station tucked down there on the NW corner of the intersection. Great road with tall canyon walls on either side, following the Poudre River. If you're the outdoorsy type, it looks like a perfect place for hiking, fishing, rock climbing, etc.Last edited by CyborgGT; 04-07-2011, 03:11 PM.
