I just watched; having not slept the night before because I had to leave so early, I napped through a couple hours of the event. I think I only missed a couple classes I didn't care for that much though. But I got tons of photos and video (one of a spectator almost getting clipped on the inside of a hairpin by a Cobra!). I'll post them once I can find out how to convert the video type to something Windows Movie Maker can read. Interestingly, there was a 16-year old girl that competed in Time Attack in a new Mini. You're supposed to be 18 to enter but apparently she had connections, on top of an impressive karting resume.

Ex, I just noticed the new sig and I gotta say you've got one stunning CB. That white is simply beautiful.

The new heater hose is on and now she purrs like a walrus... or at least stays as cool as one. The only problem is that the heater temp knob is broken, so now no matter how 'cool' I set it, it draws air in from the engine, not outside the car. My current plan is to finally order my red/clears in two weeks, and then a friend at work says he can convert them to LEDs. Some of you may have seen the thread following the first known retrofit in the Appearance/Lighting section (the thread seems to have gotten lost in the downtime). Mine'll be similar, only the turn signals will be sequential. I'll see if afterwards he can do the front bumper signals sequential as well, and even have it follow the curvature of the lense. Hope all goes well until then.

And I've actually never met the dude, just seen his car here and there. Any other CB is on some big wing, paint ur side moldings yellow, slap a gigantic H on ur back window type car.

That's typical Aurora Co for you. I remember seeing those on the daily when my dad had his shop there.

Yeah I live in the springs don't really come through there too much however I know what you are talking about with the rice its dispicable lol

Yeah, aurora is pretty bad with rice dudes. Though the more I drive around the springs I see alot of rice as well. How often do meets go down? Im usually up in denver every weekend. But during the week Im down in the springs....military here.

.....got stood up by the guy twice, so the cb air goin anywhere anytime soon. I was looking into getting a couple cars and start a couple different projects I've always wanted to do, but decided not to go through with it. In a way, I'm very glad he did stand me up. While "waiting" for the guy, I sor of fell in love with it all over again. I was kinda dreadingthe guy showing up and cashing me out lol.

So, I'll be holding onto it and working on it as time passes. I'm going to be replacing the hood finally(cancelled the order for the sorta-fit after I got the offer on the car), huntng down a Volvo lip, finding some new rollers, and retrofitting the larger lude rotors and calipers.....cuz let's be real....cb brakes....well.... Suck.

Well see how things pan out, but I still have a large list of "to-do's" for the car. And it won't be goin anywhere for a while.

I'm phuggin ready for another meet!! Let's do this beecez!!

Does anyone frequent any junkyards around CO? I am looking for front and rear winshield moldings. more specifically the front upper and entire rear.

I went to pull n save two days ago....but I didnt see any CB's.

On a side note, I got my new KYB's in today, and my springs will be in tomorrow. My suspension overhaul will be underway soon!!

Also, I noticed my car is leaking what seems like brake fluid right under the transmission....not a horrible leak, but I dont like leaks. Any ideas?? My clutch fluid reservoir looks a little below the fill line. And I know brake fluid is used in that reservoir.

I seen a perfect windsheild at Andersons, the trim looked good too.
You could try hooking a bleeder bottle to the slave cylinder and flush the system, maybe it'll show the leak.
