Mainly because ive only been at the track once a year for the past two years.

I also know alot of people because ive been in the denver car scene for 10 years now. I used to hang out with all the import shop owners in denver as well as had my own import parts distribution business for quite some time.

Finally got my first ticket, yay! $85 and 1 point for going 42 in a 30. Probably because I lied and said I thought the limit was 35... there's a short S-turn where it lowers to 30. By the time he caught up to me and pulled me over I was in the high 40s where the limit had gone back up to 35, but he didn't seem to notice. My driver wing mirror was also missing and for some reason my current insurance card disappeared, but he let me off on those (had previous, month-old card on me) and lowered the penalty on the speeding.

Sad thing is, I saw him sitting there and didn't bother to slow. Traffic's always moving at 35-40 through there. I'm just glad he wasn't there this morning, when I was running late for work and left the turn doing almost 60!

sucks i got tagged doing 75 in a 55 on a back road about 4 months ago, and by the first cop ive ever seen on that road lol $150, oh and im about to buy a hondata s300 then once it gets to a constant 60+ i'll be heading to PFI to get a tune, but first gotta find out what size my injectors really are

stock f20b for now once i get cams ill probably go 400ish, i know everyone thinks they are 290 like the obd2 h22s

Went to the Denver Auto Show this morning (god damn that R8 V10 had a sick color scheme) and talked to a guy about High Plains Raceway in Byers. His son there was also an Accord tuner - a CD5, but still. Once I get the coupe and at least upgrade the suspension and brakes, I shall be joining the SCCA and hitting as many track days as possible there, at Pikes Peak Int'l Raceway, and at Pueblo Motorsports Park. Can't wait to start PDX, and hopefully time trials!

The flyer they gave me has 4 days of racing scheduled at PPIR in 2010. April 17-18 and May 29-30.

i was a master certified audi technician at a dealer and was sent to be certified on the r8 then again on the v10 version. the training cosisted of 2 hours of technical data and 2 days of track driving.

Awesome. I almost have my associates in automotive tech, then I'll get a job at a dealer. My ultimate goal would be to switch manufacturers every so often, getting to know each one's way of doing things. A great way to experience as many cars as possible, imo.
