Meh, those Mugen wheels aren't my style. I found some sexy white Sprint Hart Tuner 15" at a JDM wheel site. The price isn't too unobtainable, at $1440, hopefully no one buys them anytime soon!

Alright, the plan Thursday is to put in a new dizzy then a friend and I are going to tear up the road by the big M mountain marker in Golden. Hopefully I'll be able to change the oil and get some fuel system cleaner too, she needs it. Video footage will be taken!

EDIT - ... or not. I'm still going for the drive but seriously doubt I'll be able to afford the part. F@%k Wells Fargo. Theiving bastards.

yea but it doesnt fit on a regular DSM manifold and you would need to get a custom manifold made for it to work.... different bolt patern on any evo, 6 and newer.

Photos from the drive. What an amazing road! It's almost surreal looking out over an entire city, then being able to see the curvature of the Earth on the horizopn beyond that. Beautiful. I couldn't enjoy the road to the fullest because for some reason the tranny's slipping when coming off the brakes and accelerating hard out of the corners. The trip back to Collins was unfortunate as well when, taking the backroads in the dark of night, I couldn't see that the road we were on suddenly turned to gravel in the middle of a 90-degree bend. There was a slight drop and the car bottomed out, and now the top of the radiator is leaking. Hopefully Advance will buy that it was a defective part... again... and I'll get a free replacement under warranty. Here are some pics from the trip, as well as my DIY grille and a couple of the ones I took during the tranny swap (thumbnails are links to full pics if you really care for a good look).












The brakes were billowing smoke when we got back down... had to let them cool. The Duralast Gold ceramics I have on there fade worse than the standard pads I had on before! And yes, that's a CB radio antenna. They're fun for cruise night, when you've got several cars out and cell phones aren't the most convenient... or safest. Cool to get traffic/construction info from truckers on the highway as well.






Needed to transfer a mount stud from the F22 tranny to the new one, but otherwise a direct bolt-on.

wow, just wow. i would be scared shitless to travel down those mountains at night! but it would be fun in the day time! o hells yeah! i like that grille btw looks pretty sexy!

Sweet, Automezzi and Goodguys are on the 6th, followed by Concours on the 13th!! I'll have to try and schedule my vacation time for the hill climb and just request the show days off. I'd love to know how the guy with the Enzo handled the hail while leaving last year's Automezzi!

The whole body of the Enzo is made of carbon fiber so its essentially dent proof! traction wise... good luck lol!

I wanna race him once my car is tuned.
