I didn't have a camber kit on it either. I planned on getting one eventually but never got around to it. It ran like a damn top though man, by far the strongest stock h22 I've ever encountered.... I miss it a LOT.

I know what you mean about the sedan thing too man, I'm a MAJOR sedan fan. Always have been. I've owned so many it's ridiculous really...
I HAVE a full SPC camber kit, PLUS I replaced all the bushings in my coupe with energy suspension blacks a few months ago. So, if a check comes through, and it still hasn't sold. YOUR old car MAY be my new CB.

Did you do anything with the clutch? I couldn't find anything on that. I'm also thinking about calling him about that (or at least WHY he's selling it). To many tickets to the ball??

I love Monarch personally. Real snow, no snobs, hardly lines EVAR.... granted, if youre a park junkie Breck is prob your best bet, or Ski-stoned(keystone), but if you love fresh POW, decent-ish park, and are more of an all-mountain kinda guy Id recommend Monarch. AAAANNNND its WWAAAAAYYYYY cheaper than most other mountains in CO, FWIW....

Actually, if youre going to be teaching a newb, Id recommend Ski Cooper. Cheap as hell lift tickets, never any lines, good runs and bomb snow.

                cheers

be careful soliciting side jobs, and you should tell the techs to do the same. I lost my bad ass job as a master audi mechanic because of a side job. a few extra bucks in your pocket is not worth loosing a 75k a year job over.

Still a know it all I see.... Part of the reason I don't come around the site much...

I am not looking to get people fired, sounds like that was your own fault though that your employer had an issue, and found out. This country was built on people helping each other. Ever heard of a "Shade tree mechanic?" As for the future, Anything I post, ask, or sell is not directed to you Turbo90accord. So please don't bother putting in your two cents,

I've never had that be an issue for me, at any of the shops or dealerships I've worked at.....

                              But still, osnap well deserved.

I'm no trained mechanic, but a head gasket is pretty easy.

Buy a Chiltons or the other manual at a local auto parts store, while you buy the gasket. It'll give you step by step, but mainly you need it for torque settings. You can either borrow, buy, or rent a torque wrench somewhere. (Harbor freight is cheap). Then it's just taking it apart, and putting it back together.

EXCEPT,.. You may want to replace the timing belt, water pump and valve cover gasket while you've already got it apart (could be more good stuff to replace too). clean both the head gasket mating surfaces REALLY well, and set on the new one. (don't drop anything in the cylinders)

Then just follow the directions (mainly torque settings and where the bolts just came from). Heads are torqued in a set pattern shown in the book (like wheel lugs). You tighten them in a specific order up to the aimed torque settings (little by little).

Then FLUSH both the oil and radiator well. Head gaskets have a habit of leaking coolant into oil systems, and oil into coolant systems. So you need to flush the oil out of the radiator and the coolant out of the engine. If you don't, it could cause your engine to die very soon.

Unfortunately this is why cheap OR "in a parking lot"(unless it's your own parking lot) is likely not the way to go. Get it towed home and do it right for $200 yourself.

You could likely do it in a weekend the first time, after that you could do it again in a few hours.
