it should. its one of those uniform junk-yards, where they pull everything and sell it. I doubt anyone will buy that H23 any ways. its not even in their system lol.

Id also highly suggest the bisimoto valvesprings but also the retainers. you dont want to drop a valve like i did last year because your stock retainer cracked.

Maybe this is just a temporary feeling, I don't know, but right now I'm really wanting to stick with the F22 for good. I just took a look at the old Bisi F22 header thread and the power gain on a bone stock CB is f'in amazing. I've said before I don't care for too much power with an FF drivetrain, so why blow nearly three grand just to have "JDM VTEC" under my hood, then another three-plus for the blower? Not to mention the F22A's severe lack of popularity in the Honda/tuner community, and the surprise factor that goes along with it of saying you're just running a single-cam non-VTEC N/A engine that can keep up with tuners that are significantly better from the factory... honestly, there don't appear to be many highly-tuned locals, so as long as I'm not totally embarassed by the tuner crowd I'm happy. I figure I can still keep to my goal of about 275-300whp, get some select Bisi parts (keep an eye out for their CB7T sales), and possibly save some money in the long run. CB7 OEM pride!

yeah those numbers are highly unrealistic on a n/a f22 boost is what you need to acive those kinds of goals the most you can expect on a mild n/a build up here is maybe 180whp and thats with a very good tune and good parts

At 5000ft what does a stock EX or even H22 lose versus those at sea level? Maybe 15-20 brake for NA? SC too, or would that be affected as little as turbo since it's still forced induction?
I guess I forgot to configure altitude into my goal, so slightly less . High 200's sea level power, is that more realistic?
Looking around:
(your altitude x 0.03 x rated HP) / (1000) - (rated HP) = HP at your altitude (x -1, I suppose)Last edited by CyborgGT; 09-07-2010, 05:05 AM.

Honestly, Id be surprised if you'd be able to hit anything over 180whp, not to mention, once its built to that point, be able to maintain the driveability of the car. Im not trying to rain on your parade or anything like that, but IMHO, n/a h22 is the way to go if youre going all-motor and still want to drive it daily, comfortably and reliably.
But thats just me.
one of the main reasons I say that:
with my 90% stock JDM H22,(i/h/e/chipped p28, not even a real tune) I recently beat a '93 CX hatch with a 192.9WHP UNCORRECTED ls/vtec. over, and over, and over again. Off the line, from a roll, from a higher speed roll, off a rolling 1st gear start, and so-on, and so-on, and so-on.
Now, take into consideration the amount of power the ls/v made, the weight of the car(2265lbs), my factory rated 200 crank hp, and the weight of my car(2880lbs), and you can see the point Im trying to make.... I havent even gotten on a dyno to get a proper tune on e-85 like I wanted, and its still fairly impressive to me.....and Ive been in the Honda game for years.
Maybe mine is a freak of nature, but either way, my H22 has made me a believer in Honda's "big block"
EX: wghat happened with the pics/whatnot of the rollers guy? got me all excited about getting some wheels! lol'92 h22 CBMRT-->http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=158641
