Jake, what's your beef with ZEX? You're really the first person that's been so... vehement about the quality? I know a couple of v8 guys running ZEX and they like it. It seems like it would be a good set up for beginners. Enlighten me. Maybe I'll take your advice and (if I get mine) sell it and buy a used NOS or NX setup.

*ninja double edit* - It occurred to me that the bottle is probably empty when you get a new kit. Is it? Where besides Jegs can I get one filled? I was also told it runs about $4-5 a lb, correct? And about 12-15 passes at the track with a 50 shot?

idk, i would use it but 250-300 dollars sounds better to me!!

dry kits are more dangerous due to lean conditions, why anyone would want one is beyond me.

although they can be done safe, it isnt just throw the nitrous on and change the plugs!

as for filling: jegs, ips motorsports, slow motions... etc. yes the bottle is empty, should cost around 45 to fill.

i do suggest bottle warmer, and purge kit. makes life easier... also bottle pressure gauge to put in cabin.

I'm still debating if I want to use the dry shot. I know wet is better, but from my understanding, the 50 shot shouldn't be a problem dry. I need to run a comp. check before I install so much as a bottle holder though. I don't think I'll have any problems, I'm not burning any oil, I don't puff any smoke on startup or ever and she doesn't feel "lopey" like I've come to expect from a car with uneven compression. And while I agree the cash sounds nice, I've been saying it was time for boost or bottle, and I missed out on a $150 Sneaky Pete setup a couple weeks ago, then this deal comes along? Maybe I'll CL it at $400 and if it sells, buy a wet kit. I see them used for $250-400 all the time. Oooh - there's a complete turbo kit for a d-series on CL pretty cheap. All I'd need to do is swap the manifold out. Hmmmm...... so many choices.
