well i have some tie in on the rear driver side. so....

i got a lead foot when i was pissed, was spin them around a hard corner and pulled the e brake to line up w/ a road when exiting the parking lot. pulled it off prefect but had a loud vibration noise in the rear but no shake at all.

but when i looked over everything my lower control arm is loose, like bushings are shot and broke an end link

SUCK!!! Taildragging FTFL! Time to drive her into the garage, fire up the torpedo heater and upgrade that rear end.

I haven't ever broken anything tossing a car around like that, but I did almost lose my 'rolla doing it one time. I was showing off for a friend of mine in the rain in his parking lot, pulled the brake to slide the corner and hit a patch of black ice. I couldn't get the handle down quick enough, and ended up getting stopped about two inches from some guys new mustang. I don't drag the coupe too often. It doesn't snap back into line the way I'd like when you pop the handle back down.

On a different note, I'm taking the position out at Wingate Village. They offered me a dollar more than I asked them for. I'll be repairing the non-operational HVAC systems. I'm going to tell them I'll take it, but I don't want to do oncall (not a big deal, the guy has already talked about that with me a little. I'm no good in an emergency since I live 30 minutes away). I will however be available to consult with the oncall person in the event of an HVAC emergency after hours.

Thanks for the congratulations from you all! Yeah, it wasn't long at all. I think it will have been just long enough for my back to heal up. Now if they just leave me alone to fix the HVAC, it'll be fine. Hell, it might even be fun! And I'll be driving the coupe every day instead of my beater ass Astro with a busted swaybar, balding tires, one spare (Yes Tom, still rocking the spare - I sent Dave the sizes I needed, but never heard back from him about tires.) I might just sell the damn thing for a few hundred bucks, maybe use that to pick up another cb7 for the boys to work on and share when they get licenses. Shhhhh. Don't say anything to them if you see them!
