This event is in NW Ohio, in both cleveland and mansfield... nelson ledges and mid-ohio are the 2 tracks we will focus our attention on.
I know this is an accord place, but we're all hondas, right?
My local prelude group is incharge of organizing the national prelude meet this year and we've got it all setup. This is one of the best NPM's ever (5th year this time), and is possibly the cheapest one as well. Details below.
The track date will be Thursday, June 21. The cost for track day will be $100. The show will be $25. We are still working on dyno and drags. Here is the schedule we are trying to put together.
Weds. June 20- Meet and greet at hotel
Thurs. June 21- Track day at Nelson Ledges, Gates open at 7am, drivers meeting at 8am, track goes hot at 9am. Lunch at 12pm, track goes cold at 4pm and gates close at 5pm
Fri. June 22- Drags and dyno at Thompson Raceway Park Gates open 9am track goes hot at 10am, lunch at 12pm, tracks goes cold at 4pm Dinner etc drive to Mansfield.(Change hotels)
Sat. June 23- Show at Mid-Ohio during the Tuner Triple Crown Challenge/ Grand Am race. After the race day is over we will have the banquet and awards presentation.
Sun. June 24- Tuner Triple Crown Challenge(day 2)/ Grand Am races. (for those who want to stay)
With the Mid-Ohio race weekend part we can be listed as a club and get our own area in the infield to park as a group. People can enter into the various parts of the Triple Crown(speed comp, show and/or sound) if they want. Chris is going to talk the his conection at Mid-Ohio for some perks.
For information on the Tuner Triple Crown/Grand Am go to www.midohio.com and check out the Emco Gears Classic and Tuner Triple Crown links under schedule.
It's looking like drags and dyno will both be about $25-30. Typically we let 2 or 3 pulls on the dyno, and the drag is for all day.
We will be handing out trophys for big winners of things... best ET, highest HP, best in show categories... at the banquet on saturday night.
EDIT: I forgot, the npm site is www.nationalpreludemeet.com the forums are temporaily down as the server was moved without telling us, and they got lost.
If you want more info post up or PM me.
