Still in the search for a new ride!

I am still on the look out for a Del Sol (preferably V-Tech)... =[

I thought I had one in K-Zoo... but turns out the guy was just trying to flip the car and it was not worth the price he put on it... and he wasn't budging...

Once I find one in decent shape. Shasha's going on the market... She's been a real good ride, and will go to drive another 4 years without any problems except topping off the oil every 2,000 miles... Just hoping I sell her before that happens!

HAHA! If anybody wants to pick up Kevin's Swap, they can have my ride for 1k to drop it in! (it would make a pretty nice riiiide) lol

Someone should put that F20A DOHC into a driveable car, it'd be a waste not to. Sure it takes some effort (nothing comes free), but the reward would be a fantastically reliable car for a long time. The better the shell, the longer the life.

Other people besides Kevin can coordinate meets, post up ideas if you have them!

How about a Lake Michigan shoreline cruise! I've done this on my own and its a beautiful route with a lot of scenic stopping places with good parking!

I've been along a portion of that area as well between Traverse City and Holland. It was nice. Some small towns have state troopers hanging out, can't see them because of the curves. Not an area to speed anyhow, too much traffic and pedestrians usually.

I'm down for a meet, but have other plans at the moment. I'll attend when I'm available, keep you posted.

Yes Police are quite plentiful in the small towns and can be tricky to find. It would be more of a scenic drive and if anything would be scoped out prior to the meet to find these "speed traps" lol.

Or the cruise leader could keep everyone in check and within speed limit. No need to speed anyhow, but enjoy the view. We can find other places to let the cars run.

When I have my white project thread, I have a decent cruise I've been thinking about in my area. Maybe couple that with a cruise to eat at the local A&W. I'm not one for junk food, but their hamburgers are good with fresh vegetables, not soggy heat lamp soaked crap.

I'm thinking by this fall we need another meet. I get the feeling much is going on in background, ready to show within MI crew.

By fall I'll be ready to reveal the DX.
                          R.I.P. Veronica - JDM F20A swapped 2.0 Si wannabe.

Somebody take my red DX off my hands!

Heck, you can use it as a parts car for the price at the very least. It has a newer battery, alternator, suspension & brake parts. Accessory belts new. Radiator & hoses in good condition, radiator replaced once in car's life. The engine is healthy & all service done. OEM Honda clutch is not that old. Manual tranny is good. Has 12 lb flywheel and Yeaman's short shifter. Interior parts in good condition. CV shafts are good. All wheel bearings are good, fronts being newer and one of rear replaced. Suspension coil springs are all good, shocks are bad. All ball-joints, control arms are recently replaced. Sounds system is way better than stock with aftermarket everything (speakers, rear channel amp, Sony CD headunit) all wired nicely. I'm probably missing stuff.

You can swap much of these parts over into another better bodied vehicle if you wish and make it a very solid suspension/brake car with strong starting/charging system.

Do seriously consider the potential. It would be a shame to waste or even scrap.

                              I wish I had:
                              1. The money for it.
                              2. A purpose for it.

Its a great deal! but i don't have the need and or money! This better sell!
