Dang, turns out I just had a similar experience to yours with the Mugen lip...

I was driving to work, and it must have been after I pulled out of the gas station parking lot I scraped pretty hard and must have broken one side off the bumper so that it was hanging. I pulled up to the light, turned right and started to hear this scraping noise. Hmmmm I thought. I was going to pull over at the next drive, but it was too late. Next thing I heard was my lip braking off, then me running it over. I watched the pieces bounce around behind me as the mini van that was following me ran over them some more. I didn't even bother to turn around and go back. I just kept on driving until I got to work to assess the damage. I got to work and pulled off the last of my lip, an 8 inch piece on the drivers side that was just barely hanging on. I threw it in the passenger seat, cursed under my breath, then walked into work and went about my day. Too bad...

Isn't really heart breaking or anything, considering I have some plans once the swap is in and the Mugen lip was going to come off later anyway...

lol, would you rather rock OEM, or some cheap ghetto cardboard that isnt even cut out straight thats taped to your bumper? and theres a reason for OEM for me, my driveway is really steep scrape when i pull in and out, so i would need more flexibility out of it, and all the other steep places in town. Sioux City is the reason you would know why i rock OEM vs. nice stuff.

yeah, you'll see me most of the time post over at CD5Tuner. I haven't posted here much lately. I agree with you on OEM being the best.

OEM is more reasonable in the midwest then the west or east coast cause we see the farmers harvest season, and dirt clumps from their field in the road and it can ruin a nice lowered car but since OEM is very flexible it doesnt make you worry as much. but i might change the lip soon as we are going to redo are driveway this summer. Since you post more on CD5Tuner, im guessing u drive a cd5?

You are correct! I drive a '96 Accord sedan. Nothing really done to the car. It's my deeedee, and I love it! My first car was a '92 EX sedan. That was an awesome car. I drove the life out of it. I ended up selling it because of the rust taking over the car, and the miles were ridiculously high! A true Honda, though. I still would like to get back in a CB7, it's just impossible to find one now that doesn't have rust.

i only had one no rust, no signs of starting rust. Just dents from stupid friends, rocks, etc. hmm i drive a 92 EX sedan lol, arcadia green 5spd. i love the cb but idk ill keep it for sure but around here in sioux city, people think its a joke, but i got love for it and can get ahead on V6's so im not complaining. a guy that owns prime performance bought a cb7 3 weeks ago uses it as a DD. so i had to stop and say hi lol. but it will be slightly modded with an H22 so i can pull on people when needed for a DD. lately i've been looking at 350z's they appeal to me lol. as for a cb7 Des Moines, IA as plenty but idk about the rust thing, i just got lucky when i searched.
