I don't know if it's that it's not in them (us). I WANTED to do this meet. NEEDED to do this meet, but there was no way in hell I was going to do it with the kids. I don't mind taking them along occasionally, but I can't drive hard, I can't bump, they're usually expressing their opinions ( read that as whining about being bored) in the back seat, and it takes all the joy out of cruising for me. I sure couldn't have lent a hand on the Jerk (in a strictly platonic way of course) with the kids.
I think that other things just get in the way sometimes. We do hve some new meat.. er.. I mean members coming in here so maybe we'll get a renewed interest and some fresh enthusiasm.

x2 i was ready to drive 1.5 hours just to make it 5 but stuff happens, and kids arent happy when strapped into a car with no ac then driven across state to look at similar cars(but they do like to go "fast"), Its here we just need to pull it together for a day

We need to do something else. Lack of activity in the club is spawning a noticeable lack of interest and participation. I've still got plans for the Hocking Hills cruise. I'd like to roll again before it gets too cold to enjoy it.

Definitely a Friday or Saturday evening for an in town meet. If we do the Hocking Hills cruise, a Saturday during the day, so we can take some decent pics, maybe through sunset and into the evening hours. (I wouldn't object to doing this one when the leaves start changing, but that leaves little time for advance planning, since Mother Nature, being a woman, is unpredictable )

I'd like to do something a little more active than our usual meet, eat and drive around for fifteen twenty minutes, bail out and go home.

Can we get some availabilities up so we can figure out a date?

I'm great after this weekend.

I still need about 2 to 4 weeks to get the accord going again... (waiting on ESP mounts) or ill be rolling up in mommy's cr-v.

We can have a small meet at my place while the h22 engine swap is going down. Maybe some cruising and/or food stuffs. It wouldn't be this weekend as esp is screwing me out of another week, but possibly the weekend after.
