OHIO CB7'S meet thread.

I'd love to do a driving meet, maybe. Meet at one place, and then drive an hour or so to some out of the normal place, maybe a scenic state park, take some pics, grab some lunch, cruise back.

Okay, I propose we meet at my place, then take 33 down to the Hocking Valley area



and visit some scenic destinations such as:

Cantwell Cliffs:


Rock House:


Conkle's Hollow:



Rockbridge:


It's a total of about 110 miles round trip, there should be plenty of photo ops along the way (lots of old farms, small towns, beautiful scenery), and there are some nice twisties back in the hills. We could meet and take off early, take our time and have a good time, stop to eat somewhere, maybe do a little BBQ back at my place after (Can't have a bonfire like at Tom's, but I've got a grill and a fair sized yard. Plenty of floor space and a couple of couches if anyone wants to crash.)

We could possibly have a meet at my place some time... I could provide the meat and you guys could bring chips, drinks, ect. I know of a pretty good place in Ashland to take pictures.

The only thing is I don't have much land, so maybe 6 or so cars could stay the night and pitch a tent if necessary.

Im thinking...

Meet at 4 PM in ashland, go to area and take pictures. Maybe drive around a little.

Go to my place and have cook out around 5.

About 6-7 Pm leave my place and drive through some country roads in the perrysville-mohican area. I think there is parking on the pleasant hill dam, which would make for some good pictures...

Probably travel back into ashland by 9 or 10 so people who need to get back on the interstate dont get lost.

Then back to my place for a bonfire and camping.

I think Ill map out some areas to drive through, kinda like johns idea, but shorter. Would you guys be OK driving on dirt roads? There are some here that are pretty scenic.

Just a thought of something id like to do in the summer. Ashland is in the North central region, halfway between Cleveland and Columbus on I-71.
