    Force Recon:

    The Hinkley Firefight, 2011

The year is 2010; the Global War on Terror has taken a turn for the worse. Bad intelligence prompted an assassination attempt on Osama Bin Laden using a small tactical nuclear device. This device was mishandled and destroyed a small town in Northern part of Country 117. The destabilization of Country 117’s political regime and the botched assassination attempt on Osama Bin Laden has turned our allies in Country 117 against us. Country 117 is a Nuclear Threat and the U.S. has been hard at work to develop new weapons to protect its citizens.

On July 18, 2011 a new state-of-the-art tactical nuclear device was reported stolen while in transit to a secret military installation in the deep woods of Northern Minnesota: Camp Konoha. This device cannot be traced; it is the size of a laptop computer yet has the destructive power 20 times that of the Hiroshima atomic bomb dropped on Japan. The device is believed to have been stolen by a small group of elite terrorist extremists.

Earlier in the week, the U.S. government received a tip from an undercover informant that there are plans for a terrorist attack on United States. The undercover informant disclosed the desire for a group of elite Terrorist Extremists to obtain this new nuclear device and use it to destroy Washington D.C. An under ground rail transport, which runs underneath Hinkley Minnesota, was used to thwart this attempted theft. It was a great shock to the U.S. Government that the terrorists knew of the underground rail and compromised the transport. The terrorists have the device and are one the loose in the woods of Hinkley, Minnesota. The Air Force Transport Security team (and one Bomb Technician) has pursued the terrorists into the woods but have lost many team members; they are trapped and pinned downed by the terrorists.

Coordinates from radio signal triangulation shows that the security team is 1.8 miles from the underground rail transport’s emergency exit out of Hinkley. Satellite imagery shows that they are holding their ground yet will be surrounded soon and completely over-run.

The U.S. is sending in an elite Marine Force Recon team to rescue the security team, retrieve and disarm the device. There is a great concern that the terrorists may detonate the bomb in Hinkley upon arrival of the Force Recon team; so 2 more Bomb Techs have deployed with Force Recon. Only a Bomb tech can disarm the bomb, so keep the Bomb Techs alive!
