    Marylands street racing gone bad!!!

Childrey91 was telling me about this morning about this but hadn't seen it on the news, but found the story on the internet. i pray for all those affected by this event. some of you may be familiar with this area hell some of you may have even been there or know some one who was there. previously posted under off topic.

Maryland State Police say two people were killed and two others seriously injured in an early morning crash in Baltimore County.

According to police, the victims were stopped along the right shoulder of Interstate 70 near the Park and Ride, when they were struck by a car.

The driver of that vehicle has been identified as Donniel Raeburn, 26, of Pikesville. He was flown to Shock Trauma and is currently listed in critical condition.

Police have identified the deceased as Mary-Kathryn Michele Abernathy, 21, of Columbia and Jonathan Robert Henderson, 20, of La Plata. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Paul Allen Duffy, 22, of Elkridge, was taken to Shock Trauma with serious injuries.

Witnesses at the scene told investigators that they had gathered in the area to witness drag racing. Police are working to determine whether Raeburn was drag racing prior to the crash.

Myranda Stephens will have more on this developing story tonight on Fox 45 News At Ten.

Damn man that story hit so hard cause it has happened here like 2 or three times. I hope the seriously wounded pull through. we race on a dark road where there are no people for miles and one night a 17 yr old guy with a newly bought si with newly installed nos decideded to run with his friend and lose control of the car and flipped. The car was leaking gas and nos. he was stuck in his seatbelt and was almost out of the car when it exploded. and i guy with a busa with a turbo on it hit a concrete barrier and bounced to the other side and he was skinned really really bad with two broken forearms but he is alive. he said he hit 180 when he lose contol.

Ppl have to be smart. Take it to a track, keep it off the streets. There's nothing honorable about street racing.
