its not fully burning in the cylinders and the excess ends up burning in the exhaust mani causing it to really heat and glow. but glad i painted it with the hi-temp paint and not reg engine paint lol

shit....... You should take care of that. thats really not good, it probably shouldn't get more than 5 or 6 hundred degrees.

i know thats why when i saw it start to glow i cut it off. i was just letting it run havent driven it yet. but the sound of the car I missed it so been about a year so it was music to my ears to hear it run.

got couple things that im going to do this weekend prob wont tell about them till you see at the meet.

yep just got some gremlins to work out then its a test drive. those small towns on the way to RR are going to hate us. b4 the glowing exhaust i held it at 3k and sounded almost like a bike lol

I hope I have the money to replace my muffler before the meet. this broken twin loop sounds like crap imo.

got it running now woot with some extra parts, but i have to figure out whats going on got a knock sensor CEL now but running old gas and need to adjust valves ticking loud.

good job homes. hurry up and get it workin homes. to get rid of the old gas, just take the gas tank off and dump the old gas out. reinstall and fill up with new gas

soon enough still need to readjust valves doing all that tomorrow prob pull out gas tomorrow also and pour in some mid grade hopefully thats all thats causing some of the problems
