***YOU YES YOU, I know there are MANY older local CB7Tuner members that have "disappeared" over the years and are lurking the forums. Some of them are still driving Accord's and other new people we don't even know! NEW YORK AND OTHER CLOSE STATES THAT MEANS YOU TOO! I would like each of us if we see a modded CB* Accord to try and tell them about the CB7Tuner community if possible. I should be available to tag along. I'm in oakville in the morning but my girlfriend's mom is in town this weekend. If all goes well I should be able to come at last as you pass through Lincoln to Niagara. I really want to make it, I'll do my best! Also I'll bring my DSLR.

Scratch that, I'm a firm yes. I think my friend and I will ride up to square one from Lincoln and ride through to Niagara Falls. Should be a fun night!

Yes good idea to meet at Square One instead of meeting us on route, may be hard to find us at the exact time.

Lets get those Lacar guys to come out!
It's been FOREVER without seeing any of them in person lol.

Remember everyone to gas up as we will be driving for about 3 hours and may need a tank on the way back. Bring a good jacket it's probably going to be cold lol.

Let me double check this route for us, I live in Lincoln and I drive these roads almost every day. I know the area around Ridge rd in Grimsby no longer has paved roads. Kemp rd is all gravel now, but I'm going to double check the route from Hamilton to Beamsville tomorrow morning!

If you can check the route that would be amazing!
Honestly I have never driven on those roads so I have no idea other than Google maps and what I have heard on the web about those roads.

We definitely will not be driving on non-paved roads lol.

Ok, so as mentioned on the Facebook page, I found two small issues that might cause a problem for the drive. I've taken some photos and have marked off their locations on the route map.

                    Issue 1: Small Gravel

The intersection at Wolverton Rd. & Ridge Rd. in Grimsby is gravel. It's not a lot, but caution is definitely advised for this section. Once we turn on to Ridge Road it's all paved.

                    Issue 2: Bridge Construction

Almost 70% of the way down this part of the road is a small bridge that is under construction. It looks like they might be working on the walls of the bridge, but it's down to 1 lane controlled by a light. This might slow down the convoy if we have a large number of cars. The other problem is the bridge is down a small slope which seems to be very sharp. I think some lowered cars might have an issue here.

The photo might not do it justice, but it seemed like it was steep when I drove over it today.

From there on until St. Catherine's everything seemed fine to me. RR8 (King St) through Lincoln was paved during the summer, so it's very smooth and quite nice. Overall I think we should be fine, but I just wanted to point out these two issues. Let me know what you think, we can re-route if need be, but this is definitely the most scenic route

Edit: I should also point out that I took these photos coming from Lincoln to Hamilton, so the opposite direction. I took the same route coming home, so I drove this area twice.

This would be one hell of a road trip for me.
But around here, all the roads are straight and true, no twisties.
I might have to come up for this.
Maybe not to Mississauga, but I could meet you further down the
road closer to the Falls. Stoney Creek area or somewhere around there.

I think we will still be fine, we will just slow down at the "gravel" intersection (doesn't look bad at all). Then at the bridge we will pull to side and wait for others if needed. Scenic route is the best route!

We are getting off the highway at Red Hill Valley Parkway @ King Street East like on the map. I guess you could meet us when we get off the highway but I'd prefer not to stop the whole convoy lol. I don't think you will miss a convo of CB7's driving down the road.

So basically we are looking at a 50% chance of rain, with a total of less than 1mm. That's not a lot honestly, but we just have to be careful. 1mm of rain is nothing, do it with your finger lol. As of now meet is still a go!
