What: It's going to be a simple meet. Accordingly Done. Meet. Cruise. Eat.
When: 12:30PM on Sunday May 13th, 2012
Where: Humber Bay Park East
Humber Bay Park Rd E, Toronto,
Ontario, M8V 3X7 (Southwest of High Park, on the lake)

1) Meet at Humber Bay Park East @ 12:30PM.
2) Cruise & eat at Master Steaks @ 3PM.
3) Sunset Photoshoot at Polson Pier @ 6PM

I will be coming to the meet, but at this point I dont think I can make the dinner or the shoot....I'd have to get back to early for work Monday Morning. I really wish I could attend the shoot, but Ill be there for the meet.

Wow that blows. Did we not know before the date was sett that it was mothers day on that day, and btw are all you guys mamma's boys? Seriously? Buy your mom's some flowers maybe some chocolates unless she is diabetic like my mom, tell her how much you love her and how's she's the best mom ever, and let's do this. If date has changed count me out, don't have time to reorganize my shit after a flop, I guarantee you the meet will have low attendance if the date has changed don't be surprised we went from 15 to just 4 to 6 guys/cars.

As far as the Facebook page says, it has been pushed back to the 27th of this month. Actually works good for me since im ALMOST done my swap lololol

Good news for some, bad news for others.

The original meet date was scheduled for Mother's Day unexpectedly, with that in mind the date needed to be rescheduled. My apologies, no I won't be spending the whole day with my mom but I guess there are others that do. I won't make them have to choose between a car meet and spending one day with their own mother. Sunday is a day that works for most or all of us for a meet day. Pushing the date earlier will not work for obvious reasons. May 27th is Stretch and Poke and is 2 weeks after the original date. With that in mind May 20th is ONE week after the original meet date and ALSO falls on a LONG WEEKEND. That means people coming from far will not have to leave early and can enjoy the full meet!

With that all said. Sunday, May 20th, 2012 will be the new meet date.
It will not be changed. Rain or shine I'm going there.

EDIT:

Also note I changed the food location from Master Steaks to Lone Star Etobicoke.
Reason being Master Steaks has a bad reputation of being "dirty" and "non-sanitary" according to past customers posted online.
Lone Star is close where we could all chill and have fun and get any type burgers, steaks, or wings. Texas style, meat meet right?
They also have a great size parking lot with minimal drops in the pavement.

And if you haven't heard of the 72oz steak challenge, if you eat a 72oz steak by yourself plus one side you get it all free.



Not that hard.
I did a 24oz steak very quickly at the location in Whitby years ago lol.

EAST END DURHAM CRUISE TO A MEAT MEET:

All the Durham guys who want to pre-meet before the meet and roll down together to the 1st meet location in Mississauga. We can meet at the Tim Hortons on Brock Street in Whitby, right off the 401 where the is a McDonalds, Wendy's, gas station, etc. I'll try to park by the phone booth otherwise best other parking is in the McDonalds lot. Time figure we can meet for 11AM and we will leave the lot at 11:30AM sharp Sunday morning. Just an idea for pre-meeters in the east end.
