Need a wee bit of help...again

Im about at the finish line for building the cressida....buying the great majority of the parts I need this coming thursday....but I dont really wanna buy some parts from there if I can avoid it as itll save me shipping

Mainly I need an intercooler and pipes....nothing fancy just something that works....that being said I dont want the typical civic size ones....too tiny for my application (1j)....so most of my searches on local forums have lead me to nothing cuz thats pretty much all I find.

Doesnt need to be exact....but like I said it has to work and be cheapish....so im likely looking at used....dont really want to spend more than 100ish on the intercooler and for the pipes well see...spend what I need but I really am in need of the intercooler....I plan on upgrading in the not too distant future just need something that will get the thing running for the summer.

I don't no if this is cheapish for you, but what about Crappy Tire, or Parts Source? I no they can get stuff like that, or you can contact a guy im dealing with to get my rims his name is Peter Pang and he is the owner of NEXTMOD in Markham. I also talked to him about a possible discount for are forum and he said ya no problem, dont no how much of a discount though, hope all of this is some help for you

Holy shit if you can get a discount for all of us at Nextmod that would be SICK.
Nextmod I believe a larger well known shop in the GTA that sponsers large events.
Speak to him and see what he can offer us!

James I would say go to the junkyard but you probably will never find intercooler stuff there, best bet IMO you have to know someone that's parting out a car or search classifeds, or Kijiji. But last resort you may have to buy a new one if you can't find any.

If you really want cheap and it's temporary, eBay?

Thanks....ill give him a call....tho if its like most other performance places around here 300 bucks seems to be the norm for a cheapish intercooler....appreciate the help tho as Im sure I can use him for other things as well

and josh trust me Ive searched kijiji...ebay...everything...and the cheapest I can find (taking shipping into consideration) is that one I put a link up for....and didnt check junkyards but I doubt many would have one that would work for my application.

I think I found one for cheap tho...off a merc apprently...100 bucks obo...so well see how she goes

So if you do end up calling him just mention the site(gave him that already) and my forum name, wich he knows. He does deal with Apexi and all of that so im sure to get a WS2 muffler wouldnt be a problem for him. I'm looking to get my Enkei Classics 92 off of him

My friend has an extra raliart intercooler. It had a rock chip and was welded, but im sure he would let it go cheap.

Thanks guys....but I bought one today for 80 bucks....off a diesel merc and is pretty much the exact size I was looking for....just gotta hope the end tanks dont cause any issues.

And Im gonna give that guy a call tomorrow to see what kinda deal I can get on a turbo ws2 muffler.
