Free/Cheap Engine?

Ok....I sold an eg hatch to a buddy of mine and the engine recently went balls up....I had no idea what kind of shape the engine was in as I bought it not running and never put it on the road....Ive heard it run for a total of maybe 15 min and when I drove it it drove fine.....regardless I dont want to leave the guy high and dry

So does anybody know of a cheap d-series engine....or of a cheap accord one with tranny....When I say cheap....I mean free....but I know thats not likely so cheap is my only option.

I looked but I can't seem to find much. It's weird, there used to always be people swapping to B's or K's and giving away their D series' but not anymore.

I just did a quick search and found some guy on JDMR selling a complete JDM D15B for $300 here. I'll keep looking around and let you know if I come across anything else.

Thanks mason.....I was thinking the same thing....I used to find cheap or free d-series all the time.

The cheapest one I found was a d16z6 for 200 obo....Im hoping the guy still has it cuz my buddy seems interested in it....plus the price is better than what ive seen people selling d15s for....300 bucks for a d15 is ridiculous.
