    i don't it doesn't matter....it's the same law on window tinting, don't put full dark tint.....for me, i was going to spray transparent black from jdm asian car stores in metro. cost 30 a can...So up to you..i found some of my friend use the spray, didn't get caught...but they only used 1 coat

        stewie has tint on his tails. and the time i drove it while i was using his car. i never got hassled for it. but i would bet if u went over to richmond u may get more attn from police.

          100 is not worth it dude i did my tail lights my self is not hard by the tint spray and do thin coats u cant fuck it up just make sure the lights go threw thats the only way i can see the cops bothering you

            tinted tails

            why tint them? The object is for people to notice you are stopping! So you tint them so it is harder for people behind you see you are stopping? But you are willing to put H I D's so you see better and people see you coming! You can be charged for obstructing or tampering with your tail lights and if you get rear endded your insurance might not cover you!

              it dosnt make it harder to see you stopping i had them on my old car and there was really no difference
