give it a couple of years when our cars become classics, then the majority of us will be around... well, heck, i guess cb's are for people of all ages (16 and up)

Vegas would be hott. But if we did have a national meet... Whooooo. That's a lot of planning along with a lot of money.

HOW ABOUT JUNE-AUGUST 2015. This is enough planning for all. Location will be a strong point to discuss.

Start a dues fund. Get everyone involved. Many convoys would work. Have a parts/tools truck/car with different convoys in different locations. Communication will be the key.

Starquestclub.com has had 3 national meets. It does take A LOT of planning and cooperation. Our last one was in Grand Rapids, MI at the 28th St. Metro Cruise. It was a blast. Convoys are key. Each of our convoys had at least 1 or 2 cars being towed and the tow vehicles brought along extra parts/tools. Everything from heads, turbos, alternators to starters, light bulbs, etc etc. Once a location is decided on and 20-30+ members express serious interest, contact a reasonably priced hotel and see about getting a group rate. We do this every year for our Pigeon Forge, TN meet that we have on the 4th of July weekend. At the moment there are 41 cars registered with rooms reserved, and there are cars coming from as far away as Wisconsin and New Mexico. Sharing rooms makes it more cost effective and plenty of people carpool. No real itinerary is set up, just whatever. It definitely takes some dedicated people to get a large meet setup. But I have faith in the people on this site! We even had shirts made and gave away door prizes(people/vendors from the site donated things to be given away, I donated $200 worth of Advance Auto Parts gift cards when i still worked there, MPI intake manifolds, fully worked heads, custom parts, etc were raffled off). This is a meet no one will ever forget.

Yep Same as the supra clubs. They have the annual tx2k* series in Houston and the main Las Vegas meet toward winter time. Its pretty cool. Hopefully I will be making both next year if all goes well. As mentioned you need a big enough venue. You also need a good amount of funds to organize the amount of events to get people to come and for pepole to do.
