    My kills to add
    4. 240sx- killed him by like 5 cars
    5. old celica - beat him after giving him a 2 car head start
    6. 5.0 mustang- beat him 50-90mph
    7. 2000 gti- left it in 1st and waited, he made his move i hit vtec and was gone by 2 cars.
i really doubt u beat a 240sx by like 5 cars, same thing with the mustang 5.0 unless they werent trying to race you. my 240 can keep up with my friends 5.0 but he has the upper hand....

My views and experiences with Nissans and Fords on the road

A lot of things come into play as far as these two races can go. Well from my experiences with my old f22a6 auto racing these two cars, I know for a fact a f22a6 can beat a OLD (notice i said old) bodied 5.0 on the freeway. These cars simply top out too easy.

I raced a black one and went 95+ on the freeway.....my car was shaking and my 200k engine was begging me to stop when I hit 105.... but the stang ran out of breath and gave up.

My dad used to have a old Lincoln Mark VII and these came with the ford mustang 5.0 motor. I wasn't racing but was actually chasing a stupid San Francisco driver that cut me off while heading to Oakland. That person was driving a CD chassis accord LX.....so almost similar to a f22a6 but the vtec 2.3.... I couldn't keep up with this fool!

Now as for the newer GT's..... i've tried with a h22....I couldn't hang before I even reached the triple digits. To even be up to par with these beasts, a Turbo or supercharger is a definate must to even stand a chance.

As far as 240sx's go.... the KA motors especially the auto's can give a f22a6 a hard time.... I raced auto for auto and I lost by 2 1/2 cars doing the D1toD4 thing. I've read other cb7tuners that raced manual for manual and they sometimes come close, but KA motors with a good driver I don't believe hit mid 14 to 15's which a H22a swapped accord is capable.

I believe with a good driver maybe these cars run very low 16's(correct me if i'm wrong) f22a6 CB7 accords run from 17's (auto) to high 16's with an EXTREME driver.

But unless we are talking Sr20det's....then thats a whole different ballpark. Just putting in a Redtop SR20det, you'll probably be looking at Neon SRT4 performance (low 14's)
Just putting in a blacktop SR motor in and having a good driver will easily put you into high 13's.
I know 2 people with SR20det motors swapped into their Nissans. One is a 180sx the other a 240sx. The 180sx has a nasty blacktop SR20det with a nasty factory S15 Spec-R Silvia ball bearing turbo. He's a really good driver and he's running low 13's

I'm not dissin Nissans or Fords but also there's the saying that no motor is built exactly the same.....you have ur mon, tues, wed. engines etc. I'd like to know whats up with that auto H22a guy on here that supposedly runs 14's with just boltons...... can't remember who it is exactly at the moment. I don't believe i'm in the 14 category but I can say I'm well in the mid to low 15's with judging from what i've beaten.

A stock 1999 Acura 3.2TL runs a 15.7 I beat my friends TL by 2car lengths and he actually has boltons! AEM CAI and dual OBX HKS dragger style mufflers with custom piping.

Remember the KA motors roots come from a low revving nissan truck....thus dubbed "The truck motor" This is another + and advantage any honda has which is to wind up the RPM's. I wish my motor can be built as far as a jdm spoon car. Have you ever seen the spoon cluster? I think it goes up to 13grand on the tach?!?!?! Jeezus now thats hella winding.

I have yet to race a 240sx....but judging from what I've raced on the road already, I think my jdm H22a will have no problem taking out a 240sx with a KA motor.....manual or not.

          240sx stock 1/4 mile times

          1989 Nissan 240SX 8.8 16.5
          1990 Nissan 240SX SE 8.8 16.5
          1991 Nissan 240SX SE 7.9 16.1
          1993 Nissan 240SX Convertible 9.6 17.3
          1993 Nissan 240SX SE 8.4 16.3
          1995 Nissan 240SX SE 8.3 16.1
          1995 Nissan 240SX SE-R 8.0 15.8

After finding this, I believe about 4-5car length is reasonable.

They are super slow ... kinda like a stock cb7 lol. Back before I had my nitrous and a couple other things I beat one by about 3-4 cars before I was out of 1st gear I know how slow they are first hand because one of my friends has one too.
