Yeah, me too. I wouldn't mind having one, and I saw one on the highway the other day. VERY recognizable and unique.

Also, Shawn Church from Temple of VTEC had someone come down with a brand new one and they tested it. He said that no matter what they did, it broke the tires loose at the top of 1st gear.

On the same dyno, it also laid down more HP everywhere than a 306HP 350Z.

    Under-rated? Probably a safe bet!

I got a friend not too far from me with a 7th gen (2004) Accord V6 coupe 6spd. Seems like I should race him with my white and see what's up, when I get to that point. Sweetness, he'll still have it then for sure since he got it not long ago and still owes money on it.

However, he has the J30a4 motor. Not this 3.5V6 that was mentioned.

I think the coupes are 14 second cars.

Yes, a good driver will run low 14's like 14.3ish. A normal driver probably high 14's to low 15's.

They lay down about 230WHP stock, and right around 200 lb/ft WTQ.

The new car is about 25HP stronger at the wheels, with about 30-40lb/ft.

Really, the power curves are pretty much identical, but the J35 has more everywhere obviously.

next thing you know, people will be swapping in the 3.7 liter engine from the MDX. That makes 300hp stock lol, that would be wicked. But idk, 3.5 is pretty big already, 3.7 might be a tight squeeze or a no squeeze lol

I really wanna be the first to swap the J35 6-speed into a CB7.....talk about a monster that would probably get 35+ mpg

The MDX J37 has the same external dimensions. The main thing working against it for swap purposes, is the addtional stroke over the J35.

It redlines lower, at 6300 vs the 6800 of the J35.
